Annual Meeting and Assembly 2022

The year 2022 is a special year for the SSM as the society will celebrate its 80th anniversary. The motto of this special event is “Celebrating Swiss Microbiology Research”. The different contributions will mainly come from researchers working at a Swiss research institution and from Swiss citizens working at a research institution abroad. A broad offer of presentations going from clinical, molecular and environmental microbiology to virology and mycology form the program of the SSM. Additionally, special sessions highlighting the different research programs of national importance, namely the two NCCRs Antiresist and Microbiomes, and the two NRPs 72 (Antimicrobial Resistance) and 78 (Covid-19) will be held.
