MetaSystems Granted EU Patent for AI Imaging

MetaSystems has been awarded EU patent no. EP3811287, protecting a novel method based on the Metafer platform software.
The patented method uses Convolutional Neural Networks, also called Deep Neural Networks (DNNs), to support AI-assisted imaging of biological samples by:

• Scanning microscope slides with standard imaging or staining methods
• Extracting key features from sample images
• Classifying biological objects using trained AI models
• Displaying detected objects in a gallery for efficient review
